hey guys, I love A Flock of Bleeps, not so much the second album, haven’t heard the third…

Could anyone make some recommendations as to what other artists should I look into that would bring similar listening experience?

Also, I am working on a film, it’s sci-fi psychological thriller, have the set getting built, got around 30 member team putting the production together, got about 30 actors that will be in it, think Hanibal Lecter(character() meets Cube meets Saw… with his hands tied he still easily convinces you it’s a good idea to rip your face off X 4 meaning there is four of them in the cubicle…

Anyway, I wonder if someone could get in touch with me about how would I go about getting in touch with Younger Brother to get them possibly to provide all new or mixed old and new soundtrack for this feature film?

But you know Simon Posford particularly, in my exceedingly humble opinion and to be fair, I’ve never met him, may fault you for being mehish on one YB album and not having heard another. Just my opinion.

I’m afraid i can’t sacrifice my integrity to simply please Younger brother. I am sticking to my honest opinion and feelings, i will not be apologizing for that today. This is the only way i know now how to live. And the only way i am able to put together a feature film with over 30 cast and over 30 crew involved where everyone involved except for tha sound guy is on a deferred pay basis. They all believe in this project because nothing is left unsaid nor bent to fit the need. Honesty is the best policy and i eiwl not waver, even if it means lost opportunity.

I hope you are right, this film is a whole different thing…. four people in a tiny cubicle, programmers trying to make each other commit a suicide. It’s going to be so intense, i have 10 so far world class actors after auditioning hundreds, i need 20 more, i sleep 2 hours a night last 3 weeks. Some of the best actors refuse to do it when they realize they have to commit a suicide in character, of course i respect that, i dont want anyone to get hurt mentally, some actors, the way they work, something like that could affect their real life. Plus actors will have to dig deep in some dark, sinister, vicious places they may never knew they have, that is not something to be taken lightly. But in order for this film to break new grounds it requires insane intensity and focus, range is non-issue obviously as well, very draining job, i would never be able nor would i ever want to get in the box(our set) and do what they will do… if anyone would, you guys will appreciate a film like this where people use their intelligence to try and influence others, bend them to their will and they are all insanely smart. It will be a feast.

I would like to give you guys an update on few things, first of all 4-6-7-2 project, I had to shut it down and breakdown the set, but it’s coming back!!! very soon I am building a new set based on my three months of shooting experience it will be million times better(I am a director I’m allowed to exaggerate to make my points), there is no more talk of suicide, instead each session is a different reality within the constricted reality of the “box”.

When I have enough footage from the new set I will ask Younger Brother to have a look and see if we can work something out for them to create the background sound effects/soundstage for the sessions.

I would also like to say that I am now completely in love with the second album, I think I lacked the sensitivity required to appreciate it. In my mind(I mean I suppose) my sensitivity comes in waves throughout the year and I would not be able to track those things down so well, as opposed to my usual annual christmas/New Year wave of depression(started thinking recently it may also have something to do with our reality membrane and it’s few trillion neighbors… anyway, recently I have been spending much thought in my free time to the membrane theory in physics(not much free time due to my new massive project “The Game Changer” due in considerable portion to the 4-6-7-2 experience where I went through nearly 400 actors on the set of 4-6-7-2 without script, fully improvised with only some objectives for individual actors and some direction), anyway getting back to Younger Brother’s second album… I think unlike each separate track by Shpongle which is in my mind playing out as a completely different universe or each track on the Flock of Bleeps album where each one is a separate Universe as well, the second album is more like a collection of different looks at a single reality(membrane?) so it requires different sensitivity and different approach then the Flock of bleeps album.

I hope I’m not going to get sued for the little sneaky use of a few moments of one of the Younger Brother tracks in the credits(my fave) it would be fruitless rest assured, I am penniless.
