We should have a Twisted Remix contest!

If we can get Twisted and a few of the artists to provide us with the stems to a few songs, we could have a pretty awesome remix contest to be judged by the artists themselves.

Even if we can’t get the label or artists to make it official, I propose that we should choose a Twisted song or two and have our own contest for fun.

Simon seemed up for it back then, but nothing ever happened.

Interesting.  I will try to email Twisted about this and see what we can find out.  If we can find enough interested, we could possibly get the label to support this or at least advertise it.

Ah well, I’m still up for it without samples from the Twisted crew - just be fun hearing remixes of the Twisted tunes

The other problem was that the old harddrive with older YB and shpongle tracks went toast.

Would be fun to have a “recreate and remix an old twisted track” contest…

I’d say, if I don’t hear anything by Friday, I’ll write up some guidelines and song suggestions and post them to see what you all think.  I hope that we are eventually able to contact somebody!

Always into a good remix contest. Would love it if it were an Ott tune, but i’d be down for anything really

I just hope that if we go ahead and do it, we won’t get in any trouble by the label or artists…
