Love it. The sound decomposing approach reminds me of Matmos, but In:terlaken flows a lot more organicly

Just had a listen to the first track and it’s deffinatley worthy of a Twisted release, a wise choice.  Hope then an album will be out soon..

I’m not so sure either. I would hope that Twisted would bring something new to the table instead of something that is getting fairly overdone these days (the glitchy ambient chill stuff). To each their own though. I miss the old Twisted (Hallucinogen and early Shpongle). This new guy really reminds me of Jon Hopkins style of music but I think Jon has a more melodic approach to his music.

Tbh…at first I got the impression that this was way out of Twisted league…but along the line I have realized that Twisted Rec won’t be dealing with trance music for the time being. And I’ve made my peace with it.

Maybe it does sound, so far, like many things we’ve heard before (glitchy or whatever), but I’ve no doubt that his material will be Twisted-like when it comes to the album release. Twisted Rec. crew didn’t choose him for nothing…

I’m glad that I’ve read the enthusiastic comments, and as for the others, all I have to write is - wait and hear…

i’m curious how much input twisted will have, whether simon will master the album or something.

because as it stands it’s just nice IDM, conceptually good, but not much ‘production value’.

i’d say it’s a strange choice, but not much surprises me anymore when it comes to twisted.

Yep, I trust in Twisted that they know what they’re doing and see the potential here.  Not that it’s not already amazing, but he may acquire more of the established Twisted style upon recording with the label.

I guess only time will tell. . .

I’m definitely looking forward to hear something new from twisted !

And still dreaming about Backroom Beats 3 by the way. . .

Yes or just a new compilation such as Unusual suspects 3.
