I believe Twisted Records has mentioned (years ago) that pushing new artists was part of its plan, and I think the “Twisted Sessions” forum was part of this initiative.

I remember someone on the forums complaining that they weren’t staying true to this promise (and were in fact culling artists), but of course this was when the market was crashing/changing.

So I welcome this release with open arms, and I urge everyone who wants Twisted to survive to purchase an original copy!

i’m really looking forward to purchasing their first album, but this being twisted it’ll probably be a while

I will definitely be purchasing an In:terlaken album upon release!

I really don’t understand why Twisted isn’t promoting this guy. They sign him and you don’t hear anything about him. Simon is touring the whole United States right now and this would be a perfect opportunity to showcase your younger artists and have them open up every show gaining exposure.

Instead he is touring with Phutureprimitive and EOTO, neither are artists that are on Twisted’s label. I love Twisted to death but these guys always leave me scratching my head on business decisions.

yea i was hoping to hear more about this guy but i understand these things take time so i remain hopefull, I havnt had a chance to preview his material yet (stupid internet settings at work) but from what ive heard it sounds pretty cool and im pretty sure ill be purchasing a copy as soon as its released.  I still have to at least preview it before i know for sure of course but im sure ill be impressed, im always thirsty for more psychadelic music.
