Nashville, TN…A music industry veteran and a rising figure in the expanding electronic music scene, Earth Tones has come a long way from his first days as a computer musician.  As a solo artist and producer based in Nashville, Tennessee, Earth Tones’ cutting-edge sounds take influence from categories spanning the musical realm.  While primarily producing in the downtempo genre (commonly known as “chillout” or “psybient”), his style also incorporates elements from trance and world music.  Only weeks away from completing the new (as-of-now untitled) EP, Earth Tones is simultaneously crafting an extraordinary live show to be unveiled this spring!

Earth Tones was created as a solo endeavor by Oklahoma’s Brian Isaac at the end of 2010 after years of formal study in music and interest in the electronic craft.  After a short three months creating the first tones in a studio in Stillwater, Oklahoma, Brian emerged with Oasis, the locally-released first EP.  Over the next six months, he adopted the name Earth Tones, constituted an online presence, was featured on websites such as Absolutepunk.net and Houseoflocals.com, then finally was signed to DiPT Records in December of 2011.

Brian remains a well-rounded musician, having studied percussion since age 12 and piano since age 18.  An avid listener as well, Brian keeps very up-to-date on the latest music and technology.  He also enjoys studying music business, marketing, literature, and philosophy.

The songs on the new EP demonstrate the breadth of downtempo electronic music and encompasses the style of a true original.  Regarded as some of the most ambitious and creative work in the genre, Earth Tones is just beginning.

Nice. Looking forward to the album. As DiPT records is based in Norway, what’s the chances of doing an album launch there ? Long for you to go i know. I’m sure Carl will put you up if u ask nice hahahaha. I would trsvel from Sweden to Norway if it was ever possible for you to come.

That sounds incredible and I would love to have an album launch or even a release show there.  It is a very long way, but I want to look into it!  It would definitely be a requirement to have Carl help me out hahaha.

How I wish I was a millionaire :-D we would put on a hell of a show!!  But I`m hoping (and dreaming) to put on some kind of party/show in the future , and to get everyone together for a GRAND NIGHT OF DiPT !!! But as always- lacking the cashflow :-(
I have been in touch with a party organiser here in Oslo,but no hard plans just yet!
But still working on it, and NEVER giving up!! :-D

Just received back two new masters for an upcoming EP and am working on artwork as well!  Can’t wait to share some new music!
