Hi everyone,

A few years ago I had my fifth SF novel published, Hallucinating, a futuristic, music-drenched look at alien invasion, Britain, but most importantly… music!

It’s out again now as an ebook, including for the kindle reader.

The novel, which plays with ideas of reality and imagination, included cameo appearances by various underground luminaries, one being the mighty Simon Posford. I well remember the email exchange we had sorting out the details of the cameo - great fun. Simon was a gent, and well up for some reality-shifting fictioneering…

Enjoy!

Steve…

Dude, tokapelli, im reading this awesome book rite now.

It’s called wizard of the upper amazon, and its a completely true story of a youth who sets out into the jungle with a coucho outfit (rubber producers), and is kidnapped by a tribe of indigenous people.  He is at first a prisoner, but soon becomes a full member of the tribe and the chief takes special interest in him, putting him on a strict diet, and ayahuasca regimine.  He takes ayahuasca very often and is trained personally by the chief in plant knowledge, because the chief has chosen him to be the next chief.

I haven’t finished the book yet, so i dont know what happens, but it is really fascinating to have this kind of look into amazonian shamanism.  Ill borrow it to you if you are interested (way better than don juan books, cause its all true).

for sure that sounds pretty awesome, i was bummed out when i finished True Hallucinations it was a very enjoyable read, a psychedelic jugle adventure, ill have to get that from you as soon as your done.
*edit, actually i got impatient and just ordered it, thanks for the reccomendation, I dont mean to hijack your thread steve, but that is Pablo Aramingo’s art on the cover right harmalosa?  Its very interesting that the shaman on the cover is surrounded by colors and you can see colorful hallucinations coming out of his mouth, Mckenna talked about that phenomenon alot in true hallucinations, cant wait to get this book!

So far it has been a great read, im curios to hear your thouts on it. Yup that is pablo amaringos art. He has some really amazing stuff, I wish he sold a new art book, I have ayahuasca visions by pablo, its crazy to hear his interperetations of the art.

Also, steve yeah sorry no intention to hijack the thread, I just was thinking about books..
