HelloMellow, this is an updated version of a previous case study you were working on, no? What is the case study for? As an artist I once did a case study of the documentary “Terminal 4” which was based on an art exhibition. I was looking at how a lot of successful art is deliberately designed to feed into an elitist affluent paradigm. Damian Hirst’s diamond encrusted skull came out in the interim, and is a perfect example of what I’m talking about. The ‘Art is Money’ thing is about the only statement you can read into 50% of Andy Warhol’s work. Anyway, nice job on the case study, it’s inspiring me to revisit my old project from a few years ago. Solidarity to the workers of the world!

Very interesting read.  I knew all of that was going on, but it’s cool to see it laid out like that.  Can’t wait for future releases…and hopefully some merch as well! wink

Actually, it was a case-study I did for my thesis: http://basbasbas.com/thesis/solution#twisted_music

I had it finished way before the rest of the thesis, so I got in touch with Techdirt who posted it (and changed the title to this one).

Thanks for sharing, HelloMellow smile

Hi smile No problem!
Haven’t been here in a while…

Well, one of the reasons I shared it was that I was the one getting “bashed” on by Simon because I didn’t love all the songs on their new album…
I think it was just a misunderstanding, I have bought all his albums, including the latest on vinyl for over £100 on discogs because I wanted it on vinyl smile
