This was a life-changing experience.  Was anyone there?  I was literally dancing for three hours non-stop.  That was insane.

Yeah it was the masquerade.  Mr Smalls is like the only authentic underground venue in Pittsburgh I feel like…it has a capacity of 650.  But Simon was playing like there were 650,000 people in that venue.  Everyone reached nirvana through dancing and mutually agreed to not give a fuck and have the most wild party ever.  I can’t get over how awesome that was.  Bought a t-shirt LOL

Wow…just saw a YouTube vid of the new Shpongletron and it looks incredible!!

Best DJ set I’ve ever been to.  At one point it felt like he was making new music or something along those lines.  The lights were incredible, but the music was the key focus.  In many ways I think I’m glad I saw just Posford because I’m so into Electronic music.  I love Shpongle, but Simon alternated between psychedelic and four-to-da-floor.  There was one point where he was doing drawing out a “drop” (like a dubstep drop) for what felt like 10 seconds, but it was SHPONGLE drop LOL.  He BROUGHT it.  It got sooo funky.

Definitely recommend seeing this if it’s near you!!  Simon’s a GOD(like DJ)!!

I wish I had the soundboard of that show!!  Incredible mix!  Definitely heard a new track or two (or three?)
