I’ve just found out about this…seems to be a Twisted Rec release. =S (rls date 11.05.2012)

Anybody got it, any comments on it?

Nice.  Haven’t gotten it, but been listening to the clips.  I found it odd for a Twisted release that many of the songs were around House tempo!

An additional £18 for lossless? :(

It does sound wonderful though.

I bought a hard copy from the eclipse site and it cost me £25 in total, the money goes to a good cause.  That was a few weeks ago and I listened to it once and wasn’t impressed with it at all really.  There’s no Shpongle on it, Ott or Interlaken which I was surprised at as there is an album coming at some point?

There’s a track on by Benji V which is good and a Younger Brother remix which I don’t really think goes anywhere and not too exciting.  The second cd is slightly better than the first and the first is boring, quite a ‘house’ feel to it which I was surprised about and to be honest the actual dance/house stuff I use to listen to in the early 90’s was alot better than what is on here.  Overall it’s a strange selection of tunes and I get the feel that it was put together to appeal to a more global audience, safe is the word.

I’ll have to give it another few listens but on first impressions no way near the standard of any previous Twisted compilation.

I too, was a bit surpriced when all the trax were a bit housey, but after a few listenings
It has grown on me, and MOST of the tunes are quite good. Its been some years since i last listened to this type of music smile

It’s bloody brilliant!
Take your psytrance flares off and take a listen, there are some great tracks on there.

Of course Itch crackle pop by Benji is as wonderful as we have come to expect from this musical master, it’s worth buying just for this track alone. Thank you Benji!

But there are others that are great, the track by Dick Trevor, Gus (which I assume is Gus Till? If it is, it’s great to see him back on form. Come on, who doesn’t get excited about a Gus Till track? - Slinky Wizard, Bus, Zen Lemonade - the man’s a genius). Then there’s James Monro (flying rhino legend), Eat Static (just legends) and even System 7.
Throw in some psytrance from freq, atmos and tristan and what do you get. A fucking great cd.

House tempo, sheesh, some kids these days…
