Anyway, i liked the opportunity to buy a cd directly from the twisted shop as the prices were very fair and also the shipping fees were low with the flat rate option.
In contrast i pre-ordered the upcoming Shpongle album which is sold via top spin media. I found the shipping fee quite expensive, in any case it was clearly more expensive than the fee that twisted calculated.
It’s okay for me if i pay a few more bucks for a limited edition in pre-order to support the manufactoring process of the new album, but i don’t see a reason why i should pay more for the shipping of that cd than necessary.
So for that reason alone twisted should get their shop running again.
That’s for sure!
They charged out the wha-zoo for shipping on the new album- I agree with you on supporting the band for the manufacturing process, but I’m not at all a fan of this new system- I could give two shits less about TopSpinMedia.
I’m just going to complain on Simon’s FB page until he gets his business in order the way his fans are used to- if anyone wants to join me, that whole saying about “an act of congress” just might pay off.
I really hope this album is good. I always love Simon’s sets, but it just seems that lately his focus has been on pleasing collage students with no taste (or hearing)- I almost feel the same way about Ott too. I want to listen to psychedelic trance, not psychedelicly layered dubstep. He’s mixing more, which is awesome, but I don’t know if it’s just the part of the world I live in that they’re performing in, or they’re trying to draw in some other kind of crowd, but I miss their ambiance.
Now, I will say that Younger Brother has really impressed me with how they’ve evolved, but you just can’t beat A Flock of Bleeps- so Simon, fix your site so I can pay you.
