I have too heard that on a commerical, and I too can’t remember what commercial.

i’ve heard loads of good tunes used for ads and programs, like for example i’ve heard plaid, squarepusher, shpongle, autechre and venetian snares in adverts and top gear have used aphex twins windowlicker…...top notch tv

shpongle was also played on sky tv to promote the world cup coverage a few years ago

I remember a (quite good) Mexican restaurant in Texas using the trumpet section of My Head Feels Like a Frisbee in one of their advertisements earlier in the year. Of course, that in itself might have been sampled from elsewhere, I’m not sure, but I like to think that they used Shpongle, simply for peace of mind.

There is a shpongle track playing on one of the ‘Private’ porn movies.
