Hi,

I’ve come to Sonica this year to hear your live act.

But the thunderstorm stopped the festival - you haven’t
(Orion also) played your acts…

... why? What was the reason, that thousands of people
couldn’t see you, Simon, on the Sonica’s stage?

Cheers,
Szy.

we did younger brother, yes…. but i think you answered your own question:  the rain stopped the festival…
there was a possibility it would be resumed… i waited around for a few hours, but eventually had to go and catch my plane… disppointed not to play.

aye shame that

Had been looking forward to bounce around to all the treasures from the hallucinogen treasure chest. Ah well… that’ll have to wait till Twisted 10years party :D

It was an absolute thrill to catch you and benji’s Younger brother set live for the first time in my life. I absolutely floated away on a cloud of beautiful music. I remember you charged my Battery, and introduced to me to a guy named Chester and later on you turned me into a freak as the Scanner was humming. Too bad we didn’t have a moon to point our fingers at The high point was the song I’d been waiting for when I was turned into a sleepwalker.

And was especially funny when Benji and Simon had to do an emergency (and well synchronized) wee-wee behind the stage just before the set kicked off LOL

The younger brother set well made up for the lost Hallucinogen set which drowned in rain and thunder. What a thrill. Thanks lads. Truly you are wizards.

Well.. you can’t control the weather.. can you? It was such a dissapointment, but Younger Brother was there.. so.. The thunderstorm was quite refreshing though.. I must admit.

Just seen this thread and remembered the tragedy…
The truth is that the day that Hallucinogen was about to perform a summer’s rain (it was a real storm!!) ruined everything….
BUT!!!
When the storm started some of the organizers untied a tent that was behind the stage to prevent something i haven’t quite understood…
Maybe they wanted to prevent it from being damaged from the strong winds.
Anyway this action led the rain water to flood the stage (it was wet allready of course but not flooded). Then some of the gear got wet and they had to shut down the electricity…
I don’t want to blame anyone (it was god’s will to rain :D ) but if it weren’t for that clumsy reaction maybe the set could go on later…
Anyway we had a great time there and Younger Brother’s set worked as an antidote to the tragedy!!!
smile
I hope i have the chance to see Hallucinogen another time!
That’s all people.
