Did anyone catch Shpongle and Younger Brother at this years Camp Bisco in Hunter mtn. NY last weekend.  It absolutley blew my mind.  Simon is the man. I saw him perform as Hallucinogen before and that was also amazing but nothing compared to him doing Shpongle and then bringing Benjii on stage and doing some Insane Younger Bro shit.  The event took place at a ski resort and they were performing in the ski lodge and I don’t think that place will ever experience the crazyness that took place that night.  Also if anyone was there let me know what you thought when the Disco Biscuits brought out Simon to do LSD.  I thought that so ground breaking as far as merging the two scenes and the musical twist to LSD that the biscuits gave was superb!

I agree that it couldve been a little crazier, but still good none the less.

I voted for the Shpongle / Younger Brother set, how do I know if or when it’ll come on the live stream?

I’ve gotta hear it!!

Can anyone record the stream for me?

i hope you realise that was totally unrehearsed.  20 mins before the biscuits went on I got a call saying

“do you have Hallucinogen in DUB on you?  CAn you bring it to me behind the stage?”

I toolk it down, they had one listen and nailed the basic grooves and patterns.  Simon P wasn’t even there.  THey just got him a synth and got him on stage and improvised the whole thing.

Not bad considering…

Oh no, they nailed the groove, I’m not saying that. I just wanted it to get a little more creative and diverse.  At one point Simon went off a little, i was looking for more of that.  I felt they were in the same groove for too long.  They nailed the dub version though, i guess i was looking for more from Simon.

I’ve not listened them live, but have both live records and can frankly is, they are the best I’ve ever heard.. maybe Hallucinogen at Soulclipse was slightly better but there was leak of creativeness in that set.. anyway it has never thrown a shade to their sets..
