hello to all you forum people
after listening to hallucinogen in dub for the millionth and sixth time today on the bus to uni, i thought, what a great ***kin idea it would be if you sleepy people at twisted hq would do a similiar project using the shpongle archives…
im aware darth ott is working on his new album (rumoured release date 3010) and im really, really REALLY looking forward to that, but the thought of crossing otts sound with the shpongle sound really gets me excited…
imagine an ott album and a shpongle in dub album in the same erm…what… 18months ?
be like winning the lottery on wednesday then doing it again the next saturday…add a new hallucinogen album into that time frame and you’d probably reverse the bigbang..
so, to cut a long story short, sign this post if this would appeal to you as well…perhaps we can motivate them into working on such an assignment
There’s definately a deep quality that In Dub has that Blumenkraft does not. I would loe ot see Ott bring that deepness and crazy fx he does to a Shpongle In Dub album.
Most deffinatley I’d love to hear Shpongle in dub by OTT. I had this discussion with a mate earlier on this week as to which version was preffered the dub or usual mix of tea daze. He preffers the dub but in general listens to more dub than trance, myself I’d go for the Posford mix.
However for laid back listening the OTT mix just melts out the speakers - it’s something speacial.

Perhaps more effective if we set up a poll to so as to get a % number and how many people want it. Then in true corporate manner(hehe just my thing against those evils of the world) we can present our demographics to the guys and see what evolves.
t’d be kinda funny actually since ott has his hand in most of the shpongle stuff anyway… but yeah… it’d be friggin’ awesome to hear an indub of shpongle (and younger brother :D )
Count me inn on the Shpongledub, Ott is the true master of the dub, its too bad hes such a hermit and it takes him forever to release anything. He would truely put a great touch on Dorset Perception and other classics like he did on Tea daze. Also great idea on the Younger Brother dub but first we need the second album to come out, heard some of the new material live at camp bisco and I just can’t fuckin wait for that album.
