Hi,

Yay,  we are new around here

We are 3 guys from the Netherlands and we are non stop working on a new ambient/trance project called “ Easily Embarrassed ” (some like the name, some don’t wink )

I hope some of you psychill freaks have some time to listen and bully our   Aramood release, which we just uploaded on   twistedsessions for you to download or stream.

We are around various communities for some time now,  improving our sound, releasing productions for free and trying to get feedback from various music communities. We never searched for a psy community until we figured we should actually hang out with you Twisted Records fans from time to time. raspberry

We usually evolve our music from an ambient/new age theme, but are always inspired by psy chillout projects like Shpongle and Ott for example wink So we get a rich mix of stuff going. I hope you people around these boards will like the more psy oriented result we’ve uploaded and any new stuff we will be releasing in the future. (we are currently working on some new stuff that has some Ott like content I think)

I hope you psy guys can spare us some feedback. We really need all your thoughts to keep on producing and improving our sound. Love ya in advance!

‘And hopefully, one day, we’ll match the great artists we all love’  *cough* wink

Btw, if you really like Aramood and want to hear more of our older productions and you are not turned down by ambient/trance/new age without that much psy, please search for us on last.fm or google us or something wink Many thanks in advance for listening to us :D

Just have listened to your track…no…i would say JUST HAVE ENJOYED YOUR TRACK!!!
Brilliant work!!! The clarity and mixing are perfect. The melodies and the total atmosphere of the tune are fantastic. Really amazed by your work. Sounds highly professional. Don’t no why but your melody is very close to me…probably pure my taste raspberry
Keep on doing magic!!!
Peace! Om Shanti.

Wow,  thanks! Glad you like it wink

Uhm as for equipment we use. We do most things software with a bunch of VST and we use a tracker called Renoise instead of the usual FL, Cubase and stuff. Our sounds come from many different VSTi and samples, but also in rare occasions a little hardware (we have a Korg MS2000BR and a Hardsid quattro PCI, but they’re both rarely used at this time)

The Renoise tracker itself has a nice buildin filter device with a moog setting and a distortion device which we both use quite often. And we can easily renderVST stuff to a sample and apply tracker commands on the sample if that’s what we want to do.

We also bought the VST effect bundle Cakewalk Sonitus FX suite of which we apply the delay and sometimes the manual wah wah effects on our sounds. And we use the EQ and the compressor in there to mix and multiband compressor from it to master.

That’s about it I guess for now.; Not really special I guess wink But we keep on expanding our gear of course raspberry

just got a chance to listen to your track.  hot beats.  i really like the feel of the track, i like all the effects you have going on in the percussion and in the background, defianely something we strive for also in our more chill stuff.  the bass sound is a bit cheesy for me, but it definately fits the song well.

i definately like how the track really builds and gets crazy at the end.  good production overall too, which is definately a plus with us.

good stuff mate, keep it up

Well I was in the mood to listen to some new stuff and have to say this isn’t crap. I really enjoyed listening to this.
I can’t critque on production as it’s better produced than my stuff. It sounds to me well produced.
I really loved the flow and sounds you used. I enjoyed the melodies. You can tell there are many influences in there. The only thing I didn’t dig so much was the bass sound. That’s a personal thing, maybe could have been a smoother bass sound. But the track itself was really sweet. I really liked the twisted phasey bit between 4:30 and 5:10. A little old feel to it. In ways the track has that feel to it.

Nice work there dudes, hope to hear more from you guys.

Many thanks for your feedback guys! I’m happy you all like it except for the bassline. I heard more people not liking the bassline, so I guess it is save to say it should’ve been done differently.

Hmm, I wonder if I should upload our ambient / trance / new age stuff on twistedsessions as well, which is what we more often create.actually.
