Stoked

I am so ridiculously excited for this show.  This will no doubt be a new era in my live music encounters, as i have never seen live Electronica and it just so happens that Simon, Benji, and Bisco are some of my favorites.

I would like to find a few people to hang out with/trip with before and after the shows.  I live in Indianapolis, will be driving up the 30th.

Does anybody know about any festival-style campgrounds?  OR at least where I can start to meet some of the twisted crew?

Hope to see you all there

Camp Grounds?  I dont think so, your’re going to be in an urban setting so to camp youd have to drive a ways,

“They attack the same psychedelic world, but via a different medium. Instead of the electronic produced perfection of the Twisted guys, they hit the organic improvisational raw emotion side. The Disco Biscuits are ferocious and beautiful.”

dude you almost made me cry, amazing description of the band that has literally blown my mind to pieces…

alex, its so awesome you are travelling that far, i myself am driving out there to philly from wyoming, a treck in its own right.  but you are going to absolutely love the discobiscuits, they are a steam-engine of dancey psychedelic trance with some jazz and rock undertones and they have made me travel the world to see them, much like you will be doing for simon.

head over to archive.org for free live downloads

this will be my second simon p experience (first was campbisco IV), and first shpongle, and i couldn’t be more excited about it!  these couple of nights will almost undoubtedly be the best two i ever witnessed, musically.  i’ve been bumping so much shpongle, yb, prometheus and hallucinogen lately, i’m so ready for thsi shit.

insane fun my friends!!

Hotels

For those looking for hotels, you can stay in Philly, Camden is right over the bridge.  Or book a hotel in Cherry Hill NJ, which is about a 5 min drive to the venue.  The Crowne Plaza is the closet hotel in NJ to the venue.

DO NOT STAY IN CAMDEN!!

I’m not a violent person.

BUT

when you have tickets to see shpongle for the first time, you’re just making hotel arrangements,

and your tripmate gets picked up for speeding and possession

WHAT shall i do?

he can’t leave the state, and I can’t drive 16 hours straight.  Plane tickets cost $700 from Indianapolis to Philly round trip, hotels cost $200 a night, and a skinny white boy wouldn’t do very well to stay alone in New Jersey.

PLEASE help me fulfill me somebody this is a big low.

I’m going to go smoke some chronic.
