I’ve listened to Blumenkraft 3 times in a row trying to figure out my fave.
They are all good, I think it depends on mood, time and place a lot.
But when Smoked Glass and Chrome comes on, it always puts a smile on my face and is the perfect closer to the album. I’d have to go with that one for now.
Mine varies wildly too. I couldnt possibly offer an all-time favorite as as Twopynts said: it all depends on my mood…
BUT: right now, I would have to say Cley Hill would be my fave (love the guitar bits in the middle)
and a close second: Somersettler (theres a really funky drummy bit there that i love!)
In other moods however, his hallucinogen remixes of solstice and LSD would be my faves but that varies by mood too.
I cant say that I’ve found one track by Ott that I’ve disliked. PURE GENIUS.
Ott- Keep up the good work man - cant wait for the new album!
Gotta go with Somersettlert today. Though Jack’s Cheese and Bread Snack and Billy the Kid Strikes Again are my other favorites (Once again, depending on mood). Also, on Discogs there’s a track called “Ott Meets Billy the Kid”. I’m assuming this is a different track, right?

they are al good but smoked glass and chrome is probahly a bit better than the other tracks, really good track.
Aw what, no Billy the Kid Strikes Back fans out there? That’s definitely gotta be one of my faves right now. The sounds in it are amazing. There is a sound that comes in right after the long solo in the middle of the track, sounds like a low air horn, it’s a two note motif, love that sound!
Not an Ott song but the remix he did of STS9’s The Spectacle is one of my tops.
This is kinda like the Top 10 thread. Its hard to choose a favorite.
Love Owl Stretching Time right now.
The Aubergine of the Sun is becoming me and my daughters new favorite
Musicaly as well as message-wise, it is so full of hope!
Lyrics:
Welcome…
We think your large again
It’s not perfect
But it’s what we really got
Hush (or Nice?) people…
You’ll find your new family quite nice
For the time you’re here,
there’s lot to see and do
And we’ll be here to gather you
And help you find your way

Lyrics:
Nearly.
Welcome.
We think you’ll like it here.
It’s not perfect.
But it’s really all we’ve got.
Most people,
You’ll find are usually quite nice.
And for the time you’re here,
There’s lots to see and do,
And we’ll be here to care for you,
And help you find your way.
It’s a message to my daughter.

She couldn’t quite get the ‘N’ sound when I recorded that but now she’s worked it out.

That’s very sweet… no wonder it sounds and feels like hope. It’s the best thing we can share with our children. Reminds me of special words of my daughter and son. Both had completely different soundings to ‘choclate’: my daughter called it ‘gaogle’ and my son said ‘auwelau’ =)
Today I’m going to start off with ‘Squirrel and Biscuits’ for breakfast. Very inspiring!
