A track literally made for the moment, was conceived and produced especially for the millennium. Played to around 6,000 people on the eve of the new millennium at midnight in South Africa at the Vortex party, it transports Twisted firmly into the 21st century.

Like many classic Hallucinogen tracks this one takes on what can only be described as 'epic' proportions. From the initial tick-tock of the clock approaching midnight to the surreal sounds of medieval court music that spirals into a whirlwind of breaks and phased effects that glide across a solid kick. This starts of a monstrous build up as the track begins to pick up the pace before floating onwards and upwards, riding on Simons trademark arpeggio's gated kicks and pitch bends, that take the track into spiraling ecstasy. Around halfway Mi-Loony-Um! breaks down into a warm sub-bass chunking session that begins another massive circling build up taking the crowd yet higher. At this point Timothy Leary pronounces, "I became tuned in on the network of neurological signals and cellular wisdom's that radiate at hundreds of millions per second". This is the cue for the track to go supersonic on the superhighway as hundreds of modems start initializing.

Simon creates intricate melodies out of dialing tones underpinned by the same solid kick and interspersed with drum breaks and huge electro phasers that break back into these modern modem melodies. Along with these melodies 'Mi-Loony-Um!' continually adds more pace and force spiraling higher and higher into a crescendo of electronic squeaks and whistles, beats and breaks strange sounds that eventually fades into a Fatboy Slim breakdown of distorted voices.

L.S.D. Oliver Lieb Remix
The Oliver Lieb mix keeps the character of this timeless classic L.S.D using the original samples while adding his own classic production. Not so much a psychedelic affair this is a strong lateral progressive trance that grooves with smooth synths on a classic house shuffle. Until around three and a half minutes when it cuts into a huge house beat that takes off on a series of cymbal rolls and crash rides before breaking down into a solid 4/4. This strong four four beat accompanied by angelic synth lines is sure to lift the spirits of any dancefloor. Would appeal to Oliver Lieb supporter's as well as a wider house fan base.

Beautiful People
A classic track from the Hallucinogen Sound labs. Deep dark and Twisted it hits all the right buttons. There is also the Ott remix of this track on the Demented compilation. Its a reference to the beautiful crowds at psychedelic parties. Sometimes dark but always beautiful.
